Food intake:
4 x Lemonade
General feeling:
So yesterday was a tough day and I think I was feeling the heat a little. I thought I was through the worst on days 3 and 4 but a weekend on the cleanse is less than ideal - especially a Saturday.
Anyway, bad mood aside I woke up this morning feeling back to normal. I hopped on the scales and I was almost 6lb lighter! I still can't quite believe that I've come this far.
I must admit that I'm tired now of the lemonades. I'm desperately craving some substance and keep fantasizing about warm leek and potato soup! Especially as the winter months are well and truly upon us - lemonade and herbal teas aren't the most comforting of foods!
I blitzed the house which took a good three hours top to bottom stopping for a lemonade and tea in between. My energy levels haven't been effected whatsoever on this cleanse, and I'd say that I was more tired at the beginning of the process than I am now towards the end. Perhaps that says a lot about the type of foods I was putting in my body having a negative impact on my overall well being...who knows.
I'm definitely going to be more selective about the type of foods I eat going forward once I've finished the Master Cleanse. I believe this detox has seriously 'rebooted' the association I have with food and is really going to have such a positive impact on my eating habits in he future. I never thought in a million years I'd be able to cope without solids for over a week but I've proved to myself I have the will power to do it. It's an amazing feeling and I'm really proud.
I breezed through the remainder of my Sunday and accumulated a total of four lemonades which again, isn't much, but my desire to drink them is petering out. The end is in sight and I'm so looking forward to eating some healthy, solid, savoury food again!
Roll on Monday!
Overall mood: 7/10
